My initial thoughts on A2 Media

In my A2 media coursework I have been asked to create; a theatrical movie trailer, a poster and a movie magazine front cover which is worth 60% of the coursework grade. I also need to create a preliminary product which is a short trailer in the genre of either a romantic encounter, a gangster deal, a western or a horror.

The course is broken down as follows;

• 20% Research and Planning
• 60% Construction - which is broken down even more to; 40% movie trailer, 10% movie poster and 10% for a movie magazine cover.
• 20% Evaluation 

Overall I have a positive approach as I've been made to create varied media products which will allow me to experiment, because I'm going to use new software that I have not previously used.
