Camera shots - At the beginning of the trailer there are lots of close ups of main protagonists. This is so the audience can properly look at the facial expressions in detail of the main protagonists, the facial expressions at the start of the trailer are full fear. There are not many establishing shots in the trailer, which does not show the change of locations in the film. This gives a sense of mystery on where the main protagonists are going in the movie. As special effects and CGI are used in the production of Harry Potter, camera shots needed and have been thought thoroughly so they look realistic. For example the tracking crane shot of the two Weasley brothers on broomsticks flying through the main hall causing trouble. This camera for this camera shot is placed in front of the two actors so the audience can look at the destruction left behind.
Sound - Throughout the trailer the diegetic and non-diegetic sound matches the shots. For example at the start of the film, the dialogue from one of the main characters says "theres a storm coming Harry" then goes on to say "just like last time." When the dialogue of "theres a storm coming Harry" the black screen cuts to two establishing shots of the storm. Then when the non diegetic dialogue says "just like last time" the shots become flash backs of what happened in the past. Also when the shots of flash backs the sound changes to diegetic sounds out screaming, which suggests that Harry Potter who is the main character can remembers the event very well.

Editing - For the first 15 seconds of when the trailer begins there is a very fast soundtrack which is matched with the fast paced continuity editing.

Camera shots - The first shot of the trailer is an establishing shot of a city with high rise buildings. To Ride Along film fans who have watched the Ride Along 1 trailer this is a noticeable difference that supports the selling line of the official trailer of "training day is over." The Ride Along 1 film trailer began with a video game that suggests inexperience in real life and the film could be a joke like the first scene of the trailer. However in the Ride Along 2 film it starts with an establishing shot of a major city which suggests more experience and hopefully more action. About half-way through the film trailer, camera angles have been used to show dominance between characters. This can be seen when the smaller of the two characters, who is played by Kevin Hart, has high angle shots when he is speaking to the character, James Payton as he has less power. Towards the end of the trailer, fats continently editing is used when the sound starts to have a faster beat and more action is in the shots, so that the audiences attention stays with the trailer.
Sound - The first minute and a half is just diegetic sound, which is predominantly dialogue that tells parts of the story line of the film. However the last part of the trailer, non-diegtic sound and sound bridges have been used used to give a more upbeat mood to the trailer as this is the part which the most amount of action is.
Editing - The first part of the trailer has lots of dialogue as it tells parts of the film, so fewer amounts of editing have been used because the scenes are long compared to the shots at the end. The start of the trailer is different to the end as the sound is more faster which means the editing becomes fast as there is more action, that entices the audience to go and watch the film.
